Overall, this makes the upgraded T models of the Snapmaker 2.0 a more refined product when compared to the older versions. Snapmaker also made improvements to the overall 3D printing experience and added a larger 20 mm pitch (up from 8 mm) on the X- and Y-axis lead screws. The newer ‘T’ versions come with a number of improvements that make the Snapmaker 2.0 a lot more enjoyable to work with.įor example, the stepper motor driver outputs and the power supply are more silent. The ‘T’ in the model name indicates that these are the upgraded versions of the previous Snapmaker 2.0 models (A150, A250, and A350). However, if you are short on space or budget, or simply don’t need to make any big things, the A250T might be the better option for you.

All other specs and capabilities are identical between the two models.įor a $300 difference in price, that’s a lot of extra build volume for 3D printing, CNC machining, and laser engraving. The A350T offers a build volume of 320×350×330 mm, whereas the A250T offers a build volume of 230×250×235 mm. The number in the model name corresponds to the build volume of that particular device. If you are looking for something more modest, there’s also the A250T version.

As mentioned above, Snapmaker has generously provided us with the A350T to review, which is the largest and most expensive model in the 2.0 series.
